Jacks Or Better strategy
Using the following basic Jacks or Better strategy will definitely improve your payouts. Make sure you are calm and relaxed, the machine doesn’t rush and one of the keys of video poker in general and Jacks or Better specifically is to be patient.
We have supplied a list of cards to hold and when to draw.
Scroll down and find the first rule that fits your hand situation.
A general rule is that the only situation in which you would break up a drawn winning hand (Jacks Or Better pair and higher) is when you have a 1 card draw to a Royal flush.
Besides winning poker hands , hold any of the following hands, draw all five cards if you don’t catch any of them.
·Four to a Flush
·Four to a Straight Flush
·Three to a Royal Flush
·Jacks, Queens and Kings of all suits
·Face card and a ten of the same suit
·Open ended straight cards
·Low pairs (under Jack)
·Single high card
·Hold all your 2s.
If you didn’t get dealt any of the above, draw five new cards.
